Seller Terms
Welcome to Second Stroll! We’re thrilled to offer a convenient and sustainable way for you to pass on your gently used strollers and baby gear. To ensure a smooth and successful selling experience, please review our Seller Terms below:
These Seller Terms and Conditions (“Seller Terms”) and all applicable laws and regulations govern the use of if applicable, the sale of your items on the Second Stroll website: second-stroll.com (the “website”) administered and owned by Second Stroll, LLC (“Second Stroll”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Seller terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Second Stroll relating to the matters set forth herein, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, negotiations, representations and warranties, and communications, both written and oral (“Seller Agreement”).
Second Stroll serves as a venue to facilitate the buying and selling of new and used baby and children products. Sellers can have their items inspected for quality and sold through one of the two selling options offered by Second Stroll.
Options to sell to Second Stroll
- Immediate Buy-Out Option: Sellers can have their products purchased directly by us for a payout amount agreed to before the sale is finalized. Once payment has been issued to the Seller, ownership of the item is transferred and the item becomes sole property of Second Stroll. The Seller will not receive any more monies from the sale of the product on our website or in our retail store. Sales to Second Stroll are considered final.
- Consignment Option: The Seller retains ownership of the item until it is sold. Once the item is sold, Second Stroll will issue payment to the seller based on the agreed-upon consignment payout scale minus any fees, if applicable. Sellers must sign a consignment agreement outlining terms of sale, payout structure, time frame, and item handling procedures. Unsold items will be subject to pickup, donation, or disposal per the terms of the agreement. Payment is processed within 10 business days following the sale of the item. Sales are considered final.
- The consignment period is 90 days from the date the item is received by Second Stroll.
- Price Drops: In an effort to sell your item quickly and prevent it from sitting unsold for an extended period, Second Stroll may apply strategic and reasonable price reductions during the 90 day consignment period. These adjustments, typically around 5% every 10–20 days, will be made at Second Stroll’s discretion to boost the chances of a sale and ensure pricing stays aligned with current market trends.
- Consignors may suggest their own pricing; however, Second Stroll reserves the right to decline consignment if we feel the proposed price does not align with current market trends or is deemed unreasonable. Consignor should consider price drops when stating minimum accepted price.
- If an item is unsold at the end of the 90 day consignment period, Seller will have 14 days to claim the item. Unclaimed items after 14 days will be considered abandoned and may be donated or repurposed at Second Stroll's discretion.
- The Consigner may request to have the item returned to them before the consignment period ends for a $30.00 early withdrawal fee.
- While the item is under consignment with Second Stroll, the Consignor agrees not to list or sell the item privately or through any other platform. Photographs of the item taken by Second Stroll are the property of Second Stroll and the Seller may not use the photos to list the item privately.
